As the employer Board, NHS Lothian is required to provide all Boards with the appropriate governance and assurance, both during the transition and after implementation.
- The East Region Transformation Programme Board reports into the National Recruitment Steering Group.
- A Transition & Implementation Oversight Group (TIOG) has been established to oversee the different work streams on the Programme. This is to bring all the outputs of the working groups together for the overall programme, identify dependencies, monitor progress and handle any risks or issues arising from this work.
- The Transition & Implementation Oversight Group reports into the East Region Transformation Programme Board, providing monthly highlight reports on progress.
- The Programme Board is the strategic decision-making body responsible for the delivery of this programme. The TIOG manage and co-ordinate the work streams that undertake the work to implement the new service. The governance structure is identified below:
