These include mobility and postural services (wheelchairs and special seating), prosthetics, and bioengineering services (artificial limbs and special equipment),&nbsp;a disabled living centre and gait analysis service. We also provide the national driving assessment service and an orthotics service for Lothian residents only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visiting Times<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Visiting times are between 2.00pm \u2013 8.00pm but please check with the nursing staff on the specific ward as there is some variation on these times to allow patients to have their meals without interruption (called \u2018protected mealtimes\u2019).&nbsp; You can contact the ward through the hospital switchboard on 0131 537 9000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Public Transport Links<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no direct bus routes to Astley Ainslie Hospital.&nbsp; The closest bus stops served by Lothian Buses are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Morningside Road: routes 5, 11, 16, 23<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strathearn Road: route 5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kilgraston Road: route 41<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parking<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is parking available in Astley Ainslie Hospital with disabled parking spaces at each of the buildings.&nbsp; Alternatively there is non-metered parking on the public roads to the south of the site and metered parking available in the public roads just outwith the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All the buildings are wheelchair accessible with ramp access and disabled toilets.&nbsp;
