For the majority of our volunteering roles, we ask for a regular weekly commitment at the same time and day each week. Please ensure you can commit to this before applying to volunteer with us. If your availability varies from week to week and you cannot make this weekly commitment e.g., you do shift work with varying shift patterns, we will be unable to place you in a volunteering role at this time. Volunteer support is appreciated at any time during the day, but particularly over breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These are busy times on the wards where volunteer support would be most valuable. In-person group interview at East Lothian Community Hospital on 25 July from 9.30am to 11.30am or 01 August from 9.30am to 11.30am. In-person training at East Lothian Community Hospital on 11 August from 10am to 1pm or 15 August from 2pm to 5pm Midlothian Community Hospital 20 Ward Helpers within Midlothian Community Hospital (Dalkeith).
